Greek Project

Today in class we were given a project to do about Ancient Greece. We were supposed to choose something in Ancient Greece and have a project about it. Our group decided to do life in Athens compared to Sparta as a child. Each of us are going to pick a Spartan girl or boy and an Athenian boy or girl and compare and contrast. I am going to be a Spartan girl in the project. We are going to research what different roles of people were in Ancient Greece. For example, Athenian girls did not have much freedom in life and they mostly just stayed at home until they were married. In contrast Spartan women were treated close to equal to the men, going to military school and training hard. I got this info from http://www.ancientathens.org/culture/children-ancient-athens.
